The Mississippi Baptist Foundation, a non-profit Mississippi Corporation, is seeking qualified applicants for an accounting position. Preference will be given to candidates with an accounting degree and experience in trust accounting. Desired qualifications also include being an active member of a Southern Baptist church, strong interpersonal and communication skills, a high aptitude for working with computers, time-management ability, and a ministry focus compatible with the objectives of the Foundation.
The accounting function at the Mississippi Baptist Foundation services over 1300 individual accounts utilizing the Charlotte Auto Trust (SunGard) accounting software. Accounting for the investment portfolio, regular preparation of client statements, and development of other financial reports accompany this responsibility.
